Quiet candle-lighting, hymns, prayers, short tributes, and a memory wall. Light refreshments.

Lying-in-State & Tribute Night

Fri 16 Aug 2025 · 8:00 pm. Family House, Leklebi Duga

Open-casket vigil, scripture readings, quiet reflection. 11 p.m. tribute: open-mic memories, video montage, midnight candle-ring. Condolence book open all night. Dress: Dignified black.

Final Filing-Past & Burial Service

Sat 16 Aug 2025 · 8:00 am – 11:00 am. Global Evangelical Church, Leklebi Duga → Fie Family Cemetery

Silent filing-past, solemn burial liturgy, short cortege to the ancestral grounds, floral tributes. Dress: Black & white funeral cloth.

Post-Burial Reception

Vida was a faithful friend for more than a quarter of a century. We first met when she was the principal at Osu Salem School, and she approached us because she wanted to start a library for her students. There wasn't a free classroom but that didn't dampen Vida's enthusiasm. She found a small storage room packed with broken furniture and Vida saw possibilities
